Biblical
Directive One:
Living
out the truth of why the church exists.
"For
by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves,
it is
the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one
should boast. For we are
His workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand
that we should walk in them..."
"There
is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in
one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
one God and Father of all who is over
all and through all and
in all. But to each one of us grace is given according to
the
measure of Christ's gift..."
"And
He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as
evangelists,
and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping
of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of
the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of
the
faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature
man, to the
measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness
of Christ."

Jesus
taught us that the church will be built upon a rock... one
cornerstone foundational to our faith declared by the Apostle
Peter for all mankind, "You
are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Our communities
of faith, all people who have been or will become the living
body of
Christ
Jesus, have struggled
to understand the full impact
of what it means to have
Jesus
as the head
and final authority
over the church. Today, the church
remains divided over issues
of traditional practices and doctrine, which has caused
many
believers to cease responding individually or corporately to
accomplish the good works
which Jesus has called every believer
to as their purpose.
In
living out the truth of Directive One, we want to bring Biblical
counsel
and training to communities of faith and individuals
inside these communities, who are still unaware of the basic
truths quoted from Ephesians 2 & 4 above.
To
accomplish this we offer pastoral ministries as Intentional
Interim Pastors
and Consultants for clergy counseling & mentoring,
leadership development
and laity preparation for each person
to know what part they play in the body
of Christ. A detailed
description of this ministry is given in our document,
A
Renewal Ministry Overview, and in brief listed below.
In
this path of ministry, we come alongside the church for a limited
amount
of time to provide clear assistance in discovering the
